Los Molinos Jr. Dawgs Wrestling Team

The Los Molinos Jr. Bulldogs wrestling team was started in 2005 by Head Coach Jim Maxwell. The Jr. Bulldogs was a direct result of him coaching the high school team and needing a feeder program. Coach Maxwell has been coaching for 21yrs in High School and Jr. High Programs around the area.

The Jr. Bulldogs have had numerous Tournament Champions, League Champions, NAWA Champions, and State and Regional Placers. The Jr. Dawgs are comprised of about 45 wrestlers and are one of the largest teams around the area. The Dawgs practice three to four days a week and wrestle on Saturdays.

From Dec. thru May with many of the Jr. Dawgs wrestling deep into June, For local, regional and national wrestling tournaments across the nation. Our goal as coaches are to prepare our kids to be physically and mentally prepared on and off the mat. We take great pride in building a team atmosphere for our kids, we try and prepare them for life’s great ups and downs we want them to win with grace but also lose with dignity.

Our goal has always been to help the kids in our community and surrounding areas with the most positive and safe environment as possible. With special thanks to all the coaches, parents and community support the Jr. Bulldogs will continue the great excellence it has maintained in the last 6 years and for the future.
